Action-packed day from the get-go! Joseph and their crew joined us for an early morning fall adventure on Crystal River. We launched around sunrise with partly cloudy skies overhead and perfect water conditions at Crystal River Preserve State Park. The weather stayed comfortable throughout our trip with Salty Day Fishing Charters.

Once the stage was set, we focused on bottom fishing and casting with live bait to target the redfish cruisin' the flats. The jigging technique worked well in the deeper pockets around the preserve. <div>This week yhe fishing has beeg good for trout, spanish mackerel, pompano, flounder, black drum as the water temperatures have dropped with recent cold front. water temps this week was 61-64 degrees. the fishing will only het better as watwr yemps rise with upcoming warmer weather. cobia and tripletail will begin to show up in the upcoming weeks as well.&nbsp;</div>

The baits of choice are live pin fish and cut bait. They can also be caught trolling diving plugs of choice.&nbsp;</div><div>Redfish, Sheepshead and trout are still biting also.&nbsp;</div>
